Copper Creek Triathletes will receive a colored swim cap at packet pick-up. This cap will serve as identification to which wave you will start the swim.
There will be a swim course preview on Saturday, June 23 from 10 am – Noon.
Swim Course Map:

- Do not change waves on race morning. If you have lost or forgotten your swim cap, report to race headquarters for another cap. All swimmers will start their wave in the established swim corral.
- Athletes will swim clockwise once around the outside of the buoys marking the swim course. It is a modified rectangle. Buoys will be on your right side.
- Seed yourself according to your swimming ability (fast swimmers to the front). You are prohibited from striking or swimming over another swimmer.
- Any swimmer wearing an artificial propulsion device, including but not limited to fins, gloves, paddles, or floating devices of any kind shall be disqualified from the event.
- If you need assistance from a lifeguard/kayaker during the swim, it is recommended you signal for assistance. If a lifeguard or race official believes you are in danger at any point during the swim, the lifeguard or race official has, at their discretion, the right to remove you from the race.
- Swimmers who have not finished the swim by 9:00 am will be assisted to shore, their timing chip removed, and they will be disqualified from the race.
- The water temperature will be announced race morning.
- According to USA Triathlon rules:
